Hometown Holiday Tradition
Twinkling lights, live music, and Santa are only a few reasons to come out to the Denton Holiday Lighting Festival. For the last 21 years, the Christmas season has begun on the Square. Soak up some Christmas cheer with horse-drawn wagon rides, photos with Santa and activities for the whole family. Denton’s very own Grammy-award winning, Brave Combo, will provide live entertainment. Meanwhile, you can experience the true meaning of Christmas by bringing an unwrapped toy for the Denton Community Toy Drive. Drop-off will be located on the corner of Oak & Locust in front of the Recycled Books store. The 22nd annual festival will be held on December 2, 2010, with the lighting ceremony starting at 5:45 p.m. Come on out for a little hometown holiday tradition!
