Top Ten Denton Bands

Denton has long been a mecca of local live shows where one can see a local garage band to a national mainstreamer band all in the same night. Denton was named “Best Live Music Scene” by Paste Magazine in 2008 and has been the breeding ground and home to many famous singers and bands throughout the years. Some musicians have come from UNT and others just find their musical roots in Denton and call it their home. Here’s a look at the top ten most famous acts to come out of Denton, and what song you might know them by.
